Fourth graders learn about different aspects of Life Science, Earth Science and Physical Science during the school year. They are currently finishing up a unit about fast changes to the earth's surface - volcanoes, earthquakes, landslides, mudslides, and floods.
As part of our study of volcanoes we learned that they can be classified in different types depending on the profile they present.
