Floods!

In our continuing study of natural disasters, fourth graders are learning about floods.  A flood is an excess of water.  How would you like to drive the car in the picture above?  Speaking of disasters, did you know that the word disaster comes from the Latin "dis" plus "astrum" and means a bad or unlucky star.

Today's homework:
     1.  Math Miss W:  p. 463-464.
                   Mr. Spaulding:  p. 497-498.
     2.  Fluency "Are You All Right?"
     3.  Read for half an hour.
     4.  Get parent initials.
