The California Gold Rush



The discovery of gold at Sutter's Mill in January of 1848 led to one of the most important mas migrations in American history:  The California Gold Rush.  Fourth graders are reading and learning about this fascinating and colorful epoch in our state's history.

Today's homework:

     1.  Math Miss W: no homework.
                   Mr. Spaulding:  p. 541-542.
     2.  Fluency "Who Is the Cleverest?"
     3.  Study Science Review Sheet
     4.  Read for half an hour.
     5.  Get parent initials.
